# What is the most important thing to remember about Hot Score?

Learn the biggest principle behind using the Hot Score effectively.

**Follow up quickly.**

Hot Score is designed to highlight moments when a prospect is actively interested.

When someone watches your video, opens a document, or engages with your content, their interest is at its highest.

Respond while that momentum is still fresh.

The faster your follow-up, the more natural and productive the conversation will be.
